the toff in town

after work i met up with laurie, and we had coffee at an amazing street -- closed to cars and only opened to foot traffic -- lined with coffee shops and restaurants with outdoor patios, across the road from our meeting spot: flinders street station. we were waiting for paddy to meet for dinner, and he took us to the toff in town on swanson street.
this place is pure class, let me tell you. they have old train booths with doors and curtains that close for privacy to dine in, swanky dim red lights, an old fashioned coat room, and a rooftop patio. you wouldn't have guessed that this amazing restaurant was hidden in the curtain house building.
we sipped on preseco, and shared delectable starters and main courses. this spot is a definite must eat/drink when in melbourne!
