packing light means nothing to me. i swear i've already added loads on the weight of my sack since i've left san francisco. initially when i departed home, my sack was 18kg (36lbs). upon check in i was informed that i was 2kg (4lbs) over the required weight limit of 20kg (40lbs), and either had to redistribute the excess weight to my hand carry (which was heavy enough), or pay a fee for passing the luggage weight limit.

i was asked to step to the side to sort out my luggage.
